Vanio AI now runs a daily operations sweep that checks every upcoming reservation across 6 categories: messages, access codes, smart locks, cleaning, payments, and portal verification. Issues are auto-fixed where possible — failed messages get re-sent, missing access codes get created (routing to the correct provider), cleaning tasks get created with the right checkout time. What can't be fixed gets escalated. View the daily report at /reports/watchdog with severity sorting and filters, track trends over time in /reports/watchdog/analytics, and see a live status strip on the calendar. Reports are delivered via Slack and in-app notifications at 6 AM in your local timezone.

Guests can now confirm check-in, check-out, or report issues by replying to an SMS with a single number. No portal, no app — just text back "1". When a guest receives check-in instructions via SMS, the message includes numbered options: Reply 1 for "All good, checked in", Reply 2 for "Not checked in yet", Reply 3 for "I have an issue". Actions are logged on the reservation timeline and fire automation events (shortcut.checkin_confirmed, shortcut.checkout_confirmed, shortcut.escalated) so hosts can attach follow-up workflows. Shortcuts are configurable per automation action with 48-hour expiry.
