Operations Watchdog

Vanio AI now runs a daily operations sweep that checks every upcoming reservation across 6 categories: messages, access codes, smart locks, cleaning, payments, and portal verification. Issues are auto-fixed where possible — failed messages get re-sent, missing access codes get created (routing to the correct provider), cleaning tasks get created with the right checkout time. What can't be fixed gets escalated. View the daily report at /reports/watchdog with severity sorting and filters, track trends over time in /reports/watchdog/analytics, and see a live status strip on the calendar. Reports are delivered via Slack and in-app notifications at 6 AM in your local timezone.

SMS Reply Shortcuts

Guests can now confirm check-in, check-out, or report issues by replying to an SMS with a single number. No portal, no app — just text back "1". When a guest receives check-in instructions via SMS, the message includes numbered options: Reply 1 for "All good, checked in", Reply 2 for "Not checked in yet", Reply 3 for "I have an issue". Actions are logged on the reservation timeline and fire automation events (shortcut.checkin_confirmed, shortcut.checkout_confirmed, shortcut.escalated) so hosts can attach follow-up workflows. Shortcuts are configurable per automation action with 48-hour expiry.

Signature Portal, Operations Watchdog, Blog/Releases, Full i18n (10 locales)

We've launched four major upgrades to Vanio: a Signature Portal that automates guest check-ins and reservations at MGM Grand properties, an Operations Watchdog dashboard that monitors booking readiness and sends Slack alerts so nothing falls through the cracks, a new Blog & Release Center with audio articles and searchable changelogs, and full support for 10 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Bulgarian, and Polish) across your entire dashboard and website.

Plum Guide OTA integration + OtaProvider framework

Vanio now integrates with Plum Guide, a curated luxury vacation rental marketplace, so you can sync your bookings automatically and manage availability and pricing across the platform. Your reservations will flow in from Plum Guide guests, and your calendar updates will push out in real-time to keep your listings in sync. This integration uses the same listing mapping system you're already familiar with from Airbnb and Booking.com.

Direct igloohome connections are easier to set up and now appear alongside other smart lock options in the connection dialog. Your property's timezone is automatically detected from your listing location, ensuring all access code times display correctly.

We've completely redesigned the setup experience for new Vanio users.
