Automatically monitor noise levels and environmental conditions at your properties with Netatmo sensors. Get instant alerts when thresholds are exceeded and trigger automated guest messaging to prevent parties before they escalate.

What It Monitors

  • Noise levels โ€” Measured in dB. Configurable alert threshold per device (30-120dB)
  • CO2 โ€” Indoor air quality (warning at 1000ppm, critical at 1500ppm)
  • Humidity โ€” Normal range: 30-70%
  • Temperature โ€” Normal range: 15-30ยฐC

Getting Started

  1. Install your Netatmo sensor at the property
  2. Go to Settings > Apps > IoT
  3. Connect your Netatmo account
  4. Assign the sensor to a listing
  5. Configure noise thresholds for each device (see Device Settings below)
  6. Set up automated workflows (optional)

Device Settings

Each Netatmo device can be configured individually to match its placement in your property:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > IoT
  2. Click on any Netatmo device to open its details
  3. Switch to the Settings tab
  4. Adjust the Noise alert threshold (30-120 dB)
  5. Click Save

Connection Status & Troubleshooting

Your Netatmo sensors are designed to be reliable and self-maintaining:

  • Automatic recovery โ€” If a sensor temporarily loses connection due to network hiccups or brief service outages, monitoring automatically resumes when the connection is restored
  • Clear status indicators โ€” Check Settings > Apps > IoT to see the current status of all your connected devices
