See everything Vanio AI does in one place — pending decisions that need your input, guest replies sent, tasks created, and automated messages.

Vanio AI Activity Feed

What it does

The AI Activity feed gives you a single view of everything Vanio AI is doing across your properties. It shows two things:

  1. Decisions that need your attention — situations where Vanio AI needs your guidance before it can respond to a guest
  2. Activity log — every action Vanio AI took: replies sent to guests, tasks created, automated messages, and more

Where to find it

You can access the AI Activity feed in two places:

  • Reports > Vanio AI > Activity — the full page with filters and history
  • Dashboard widget — add the "Vanio AI Activity" widget to your dashboard for a quick overview

Pending Decisions

When Vanio AI encounters a situation it cannot handle confidently — a guest complaint, a missing policy, a refund request — it creates a decision for you. The decision appears at the top of the activity feed with an orange badge.

Click on any pending decision to open the conversation and use the Collaboration Drawer to tell Vanio AI how to handle it. You have four options:

  • Draft a Policy — create a knowledge base article so Vanio AI knows how to handle this in the future
  • Defend Mode — handle the guest firmly and accept the risk of a bad review
  • Specific Action — tell Vanio AI exactly what to do
  • Discuss — talk through the situation before deciding

Over time, Vanio AI learns from your decisions and starts handling similar situations automatically.

Activity Log

The activity log shows every action Vanio AI took, with the guest name and property:

  • Replied to guest — a message was sent to the guest on their booking platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, SMS, email)
  • Drafted response — a draft was prepared for your review (shadow mode)
  • Created task — a cleaning, maintenance, or operational task was created
  • Automated message — a scheduled message (check-in instructions, checkout reminder) was sent or skipped
  • Host command — you used @vanio in the sidebar to ask Vanio AI to do something

Filters

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow down:

  • Time period — last 7, 30, or 90 days
  • Activity type — all activity, replies sent, tasks created, or decisions only

Clicking on items

Click any item in the feed to open the conversation in the dashboard modal. From there you can review the full context, see what Vanio AI said, and take action if needed.
