How it works
For you as the host
Once your vehicle is listed, it appears in the marketplace alongside traditional vacation rentals. You receive booking notifications and confirmations that automatically use rental-specific language—saying "new rental booking" instead of "new reservation" and "pickup/dropoff" instead of "check-in/check-out." Payment processing works exactly like your property bookings—funds are held securely and released after successful completion.
For your guests
Guests see your vehicle in search results when they filter for car rentals in your area. They can:
- View all photos and details
- Check real-time availability
- Upload their driver's license for verification
- Sign the rental agreement digitally
- Complete payment with the same secure system used for properties
Guests automatically receive rental-specific confirmation and reminder emails that use appropriate terminology and include vehicle-specific instructions. Pre-arrival reminders include requirements for documenting vehicle condition with photos.
At pickup, guests use the app to photograph the vehicle's condition from multiple angles, including front, rear, driver side, passenger side, interior, odometer reading, and fuel level. At return, they repeat this process to document the vehicle's state.

Common questions
Can I rent cars and properties to the same guest? Yes! Guests can book your vehicle and property together in a single reservation. This creates a seamless vacation experience and often increases your total booking value. You can offer package discounts for combined bookings.
What happens if a guest damages my vehicle? The security deposit covers minor damage, and guests document vehicle condition at pickup and return through the app with required photos from seven different angles. For significant damage, you can file a claim through the same protection system that covers your properties. All incidents are tracked with photos and timestamps.
How do I handle vehicle maintenance and insurance? You remain responsible for regular maintenance, insurance, and registration—just like with your properties. Schedule maintenance during blocked calendar periods, and ensure your insurance policy covers rental use. Many hosts find commercial vehicle insurance necessary for frequent rentals.
