Itemized Expenses & Currency

Task expenses can now be broken down into line items with a quantity and a unit price, and recorded in your account's currency — so the cost you bill back to an owner is itemized, accurate, and shown in the money they actually deal in.

Quantity × unit price line items

When you add an expense to a task, you can enter it as line items rather than a single lump sum. Each line has a quantity and a unit price, and Vanio AI multiplies them for the line total, then sums the lines for the expense total.

For example, "4 pillowcases at $12 each" is recorded as exactly that — quantity 4, unit price $12, $48 total — instead of a bare "$48 supplies." The breakdown carries through to the owner statement, so when a cost is billed back to a property owner they see the itemized detail: what was bought, how many, and the price each. That transparency heads off the "what was this charge?" questions before they start.

Currency

Expenses record in your account's currency by default, so you're not converting in your head or second-guessing which currency a number is in. The currency options include Canadian dollars (CAD) alongside the currencies already supported, so Canadian operators can record and bill expenses in their own currency end to end.
